Kristen Branscum, Senior Paralegal

Kristen Branscum has been Pierson Behr Attorneys’ head Paralegal since 2009. Mrs. Branscum has over a decade of dedicated Paralegal experience and has been working in Arlington, Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex since 2009.

Prior to arriving at our firm, Kristen enjoyed an exciting and varied career including an executive position in marketing for a nationally-recognized resort company. Now in her twelfth year at Pierson Behr, Kristen is a professional, senior paralegal with extensive drafting qualifications as well as having active courtroom experience providing direct assistance to counsel.

Notwithstanding her substantial professional obligations, Kristen has still found time to play an active role in the community, particularly with activities and service projects focused on helping and protecting children. Among other things, she has actively participated in such organizations and projects as Homeless Nexxus, Birthday Party Project, Bountiful Baskets, Parent-Teacher Association at her son’s elementary school, and a plethora of youth sports auxiliary organizations. In response to an official request, she voluntarily served as a de facto foster parent in a child-endangerment case. Despite all of these commitments, Kristen has somehow made time to continue her advanced education, earning a place on the Dean’s List each semester at Texas Wesleyan University, night-school classes she has been taking in pursuit of her next goal: to become a practicing attorney herself.
